9-14-21   THOUGHTS

We used Isa 30:18 yesterday morning.  My mind has contemplated it since.  HOW GRACIOUS IS OUR GOD!  The idea that the MAJESTY OF HEAVENS “WAITS TO BLESS US” is overpowering.  I don’t believe this is word art by Isaiah, I believe it is a revealing of GOD’S NATURE by God’s Spirit!  
Therefore the LORD longs to be gracious to you, And therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the LORD is a God of justice; How blessed are all those who long for Him.  Isa 30:18

Ex 34:5-8    The LORD descended in the cloud and stood there with him as he called upon the name of the LORD. 6  Then the LORD passed by in front of him and proclaimed, "The LORD, the LORD God, compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in lovingkindness and truth; 7  who keeps lovingkindness for thousands, who forgives iniquity, transgression and sin; yet He will by no means leave the guilty unpunished, visiting the iniquity of fathers on the children and on the grandchildren to the third and fourth generations." 8  Moses made haste to bow low toward the earth and worship.

Isa 57:17-19     "Because of the iniquity of his unjust gain I was angry and struck him; I hid My face and was angry, And he went on turning away, in the way of his heart. 18  "I have seen his ways, but I will heal him; I will lead him and restore comfort to him and to his mourners,  19  Creating the praise of the lips. Peace, peace to him who is far and to him who is near," Says the LORD, "and I will heal him."

Rom 9:15-16   For He says to Moses, "I WILL HAVE MERCY ON WHOM I HAVE MERCY, AND I WILL HAVE COMPASSION ON WHOM I HAVE COMPASSION."   16  So then it does not depend on the man who wills or the man who runs, but on God who has mercy.

Hos 6:1-3     "Come, let us return to the LORD. For He has torn us, but He will heal us; He has wounded us, but He will bandage us.  2  "He will revive us after two days; He will raise us up on the third day, That we may live before Him.  3 "So let us know, let us press on to know the LORD. His going forth is as certain as the dawn; And He will come to us like the rain, Like the spring rain watering the earth."
Please think on    “He will raise us up on the third day, That we may live before Him.”  I believe it to be prophetic.    

My Prayer:
We exalt you O Lord for your greatness and your loving kindness toward us.  We acknowledge our sin and failure, and we beg your forgiveness.  Thank you for the revealing that you wait to bless us.  You have blessed us in Christ Jesus so wonderfully.  Ours is the victory at your hand. May we see and return in love from all that we are.  Teach us death to self and life to you. May we see our profit in eternal heaven and not in this world.  Help us to live before you in love with our whole heart.                     In the precious name of Jesus the Christ      Amen
